Gang Of Four curate one-off events

Post-punk band to appear live and in conversation in June

Gang Of Four are to curate two one-off events, including a live performance in London this June.

The History’s Not Made By Great Men series will start with the band in conversation with author John Niven on June 7.

Jon King and Andy Gill from the band will be talking to the author of Kill Your Friends as well as taking questions from the audience at the event at 1-5 Exchange Court, Covent Garden.

On June 9 the band will appear at the ICA for an exclusive live performance, playing songs from their forthcoming album, ‘Content’, which is due for release this September.

There will also be an exhibition of Gang Of Four art and artefacts at the venue, with a series of prints made by King and Gill based on the band’s artwork set to be unveiled.

Photographs from throughout the bands career will be on show, and there will be a listening facility where fans can hear a recently discovered cassette recording of the band’s first ever gig.
