And they are to be supported by Koffee Brown...

Legendary 70s funk band THE GAP BAND have reformed for two live dates in the UK.

The Gap Band, whose hits include ‘Burnin’ Rubber’, ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Oops Up Side Your Head’, will perform live in Manchester on July 13 at Labatt’s Apollo Manchester and in London on July 14 at London Labatt’s Apollo. Confirmed special guests will be highly touted newcomers, Koffee Brown.

The Gap Band, led by influential lead singer Charlie Wilson, called it quits more than a decade ago, after which Wilson carved out a successful solo career and went on to influence the vocal stylings of a number of hiphop and soul vocalists, such as Guy, Aaron Hall and R Kelly. Wilson released his second solo album, ‘Bridging The Gap’, late last year.

The concert will be Koffee Brown’s debut live show in the UK. But you can check out their interview now in the features section on by clicking here.
