Singer responds to fan criticism after gig in Koln, Germany

Shirley Manson of Garbage went on a Twitter rant at fans last night after a gig in Koln, Germany.

The strongly-worded comments came after Manson tweeted after the band’s gig at Koln’s E-Werk venue on Monday night (November 26): “Koln you were so strangely subdued! Sold out show but so cold? Funny. I know you love us but why couldn’t you show it? We still love you. Sx”

When some users replied to her calling her out on criticising her fans, Manson replied, “fuck off” and “Blow me”. Scroll down the page to see the full Twitter conversation.

Garbage recently had their Twitter page hacked by someone pretending to be a drunk Shirley Manson. The hacker posted a string of tweets, asking “really attractive girls” if they could post photos of themselves and also posted the lyrics from Will Smith’s 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
