Gary Glitter has seen his prison sentence for child molestation reduced by three months.
A Vietnamese court reduced Glitter’s original sentence of three years for attacking two young girls.
He is now set to be released in August 2008, as part of a nationwide Lunar New Year prison amnesty.

Vietnam traditionally reduces the sentences for inmates with good prison records just before, Tet, as the Lunar New Year is known in Vietnam.
Glitter was convicted in March 2006 for committing what were called “obscene acts with children”.
The incidents involved two girls aged 10 and 11 from Vung Tau city, reports Sky News.
