George Ezra to play intimate gig in London ahead of Brit Awards

The gig will take place next month at Brixton Electric

George Ezra has confirmed details of a one-off London date to coincide with this year’s Brit Awards.

Ezra is nominated in multiple categories at this year’s Brits, including British male solo artist, British album of the year and British breakthrough act and he’ll also play live at this year’s ceremony.

Before that, however, he’ll play an intimate show at Brixton Electric on February 16. Tickets will be available from 9am on January 28.

Meanwhile, Royal Blood – another act set to perform at the Brit Awards – will headline Koko in Camden on February 17 in the build-up to this year’s ceremony. The Bohicas will support on the night.

Other artists due to perform at the Brit Awards this year include Taylor Swift, Take That, Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and Paloma Faith.

George Ezra recently recruited actor Sir Ian McKellen for a cameo in his new ‘Listen To The Man’ video.

Ezra has spoken about how nervous he was to work with the actor. “It was nerve-racking trying to act beside him,” he said. “I’m not an actor, and he’s phenomenal.” Watch below.
