The ex-Beatle, who has been dogged by ill health in recent years, is being treated in a Swiss hospital...

Ex-BEATLE GEORGE HARRISON is reported to have been treated for a brain tumour in SWITZERLAND.

According to press reports in the UK this morning (July 9), the star, who underwent surgery in the US earlier in the year to remove a cancerous growth from his lung, has received treatment at the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland in Bellinzona.

Officials at the hospital are currently not confirming the reports, although a statement is expected later in the day.

Following his lung operation earlier in the year, a statement was issued claiming Harrison was “the most relaxed and free” he had been since he was attacked in his home and almost stabbed to death by an intruder in 1999.
