George Michael announces ‘orchestral’ UK and Ireland tour – ticket details

Singer will play 12 UK dates later this year

George Michael has announced a UK and Ireland tour for the autumn.

The singer, who said in March that he was considering coming out of his self-imposed gigging retirement, will play 12 UK dates in October, November and December.

The tour is called ‘Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour’ and will see the singer playing a set with a full orchestra, which will include a re-imagining of his own hits and some chosen covers. The trek begins with four shows at London‘s Royal Albert Hall on October 25, 26, 28 and 29 and runs until December 12, when Michael performs at the Manchester Evening News Arena.
