Former My Chemical Romance frontman played new track in Kiev last week (September 4)
Gerard Way has debuted a new song live called ‘Pinkish’.
The former My Chemical Romance frontman was playing a show in Kiev, Ukraine last week (September 4) when he played the track during his encore along with the song ‘Don’t Try’, which also wasn’t featured on his debut solo LP ‘Hesitant Alien’.

Way, who fronted My Chemical Romance until their split in 2013, told NME last year that he missed the theatricality of his old band. “I definitely miss the theatricality of it a little bit,” he said. “Now that I’ve gotten not doing something theatrical out of my system, I feel like it would be nice to get back into concepts again, maybe explore some more visual stuff.”
He also revealed he’d made plans to work with The Libertines’ Carl Barât. “At one point we did plan on meeting up and maybe doing something together, but there was no talk of starting a band, really,” he said. “We’d just sort of catch up with each other.”
