NO ‘MEN’ TROUBLE FOR GERI!

'It's Raining Men' is holding off strong competition from the band it toppled from the summit - S Club 7...

GERI HALLIWELL is on course for a second week at Number One, with her cover of ‘IT’S RAINING MEN’ currently the biggest selling single of the week.

Initial midweek sales figures show that the ex-Spice Girl‘s cover of The Weather Girls original has sold over 30,000 copies so far this week, roughly 4,000 more than current Number Two single ‘Don’t Stop Movin” by S Club 7.

Elsewhere, the highest new entry into the UK charts so far is currently Nelly, whose ‘Ride With Me’ single is at Number Three, followed by Fragma‘s ‘You Are Alive’ at Number Four.

Other new entries in the Top Ten come from Eve, whose single ‘Who’s That Girl?’ is at Number Six and Bon Jovi, who is currently at Number Nine with his new single ‘One Wild Night’.
