The former Spice Girl will appear at the G.A.Y compilation album launch...

Geri Halliwell is set to make a special guest appearance at the star-studded ‘G.A.Y.’ compilation album launch in LONDON tomorrow night (July 1).

A spokesperson said that Geri was a surprise last-minute addition to the bill, which includes All Saints, Billie, Bananarama, Louise and Honeyz.

The artists will all perform late-night sets starting at 1am after spending the afternoon at the Mardi Gras festival at London Finsbury Park.

Geri was specially invited to the launch party by founder of the G.A.Y. club Jeremy Joseph, who has been at the helm since it began eight years ago at the Astoria.

The song that she recorded exclusively for the compilation album is called ‘G.A.Y.’, and reportedly captures her memories of partying at the club over the years.

All the performers on the album have appeared live at the club. Other contributors include S Club 7, Kylie and Boyzone.
