Around 100,000 pop fans join royalty to see Geri mime in her pants, while some blokes get over-excited during Hear'say...

GERI HALLIWELL, HEAR’SAY, CRAIG DAVID, RICKY MARTIN and DESTINY’S CHILD were amongst the artists who performed in front of PRINCE CHARLES at yesterday’s (July 8) PARTY IN THE PARK festival in LONDON.

The event, as is traditional, took place at Hyde Park in front of 100,000 fans, with the acts present performing short sets in aid of the Prince’s Trust charity.

At the event, which didn’t suffer from the same bad weather that affected other live music and sporting events in the UK this weekend, Geri performed her forthcoming single ‘Scream If You Wanna Go Faster’, former Number One ‘Mi Chico Latino’ and her cover of ‘It’s Raining Men’, dressed in a skimpy underwear and a pink skintight top.

Elsewhere, former chart-toppers Hear’Say performed their massive single ‘Pure And Simple’, teenage R&B star Craig David, sporting a new haircut, sung ‘7 Days’, while Latino heartthrob Ricky Martin opened the festival with his single ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’.

Other performances throughout the day came from Destiny’s Child, David Gray, Jamiroquai, Lil’ Bow Wow, Wheatus, Tom Jones and Atomic Kitten.

According to this morning’s The Sun newspaper, four men were arrested at the event for exposing themselves. The unnamed men are reported to have performed the act during Hear’Say‘s version of ‘Pure And Simple’.
