Ghostface Killah and MF Doom unveil grindhouse cinema-themed ‘Ray Gun’ video – watch

Clip co-stars Odd Future rapper Left Brain

Ghostface Killah has released a video for his latest song ‘Ray Gun’.

The track is taken from ‘Sour Soul’, the rapper’s upcoming collaboration album recorded with Toronto-based trio Badbadnotgood, and features a guest spot from MF Doom.

The retro-themed video co-stars Odd Future’s Left Brain and is reminiscent of ’70s grindhouse cinema, fitting the throwback aesthetics of ‘Sour Soul’, which is due out February 23. Click above to watch.

The audio of ‘Ray Gun’ was released earlier this month and is the second song to be taken from the forthcoming LP after the October release of ‘Gunshowers’, which also featured a guest spot, this time from former Slum Village rapper Elzhi.

Upon the announcement of the album in October, Badbadnotgood – which consists of musicians Matthew Tavares, Alexander Sowinski and Chester Hansen – took to Twitter, calling the opportunity to work with Ghost “an honour”.

It’s been a busy time for the Wu-Tang rapper having last month appeared on the group’s latest album ‘A Better Tomorrow’, as well as releasing a new solo LP ‘36 Seasons’.
