The outlook brightens up with sun set for Worthy Farm
Rain may be predicted to hit Glastonbury tomorrow (June 24), but festivalgoers can expect things to brighten up over the weekend, according to the latest weather forecast.
While temperatures are unlikely to be as high as they were last year for the festival’s 40th anniversary – which was one of the hottest Glastonbury‘s on record – it should get a lot warmer over the weekend, with temperatures in the low and mid-20s (degrees Celsius) predicted for Saturday and Sunday.
A Met Office spokesperson told Gigwise: “On the upside the weekend weather is looking good with some warm temperatures in the low 20s and even up to 25C on Sunday (June 26) with more sunny spells – so time for the suntan lotion.”
