Returned Glastonbury 2010 tickets sell out

Fans snap up last remaining batch after just 15 minutes

The final batch of Glastonbury festival tickets sold out after just 15 minutes today (May 16).

A limited amount of returned tickets were re-sold at 12pm (BST), and just after 12.15pm a message on the festival’s official Twitter page read: “Tickets have now SOLD OUT – thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those of you who missed out.”

The bash, which this summer is celebrating its 40th year, with Stevie Wonder, Muse and U2 headlining, previously sold out within 12 hours back in October.

Empire Of The Sun, Orbital, Vampire Weekend and Hot Chip are among a host of acts who are also set to perform when around 178,000 fans descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset for this year’s event.
