Last batch of tickets snapped up in under two hours
The final batch of tickets for this year’s Glastonbury have sold out.
The last remaining tickets for the June 24-26 event went on sale at 9am (GMT) this morning (April 17) and sold out within two hours.
Standard tickets, which cost £195, were snapped up within an hour, with coach and ticket packages soon following.
Writing on the festival’s official Twitter page, Twitter.com/GlastoFest, event bosses commented: “Apologies to those of you who didn’t get a ticket – demand hugely outstripped supply, so unfortunately some people had to miss out.”
Glastonbury 2011 takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton. Billed music takes place on June 24-26, with the site opening on June 22.
