Festival organiser hails the three-day bash's 40th anniversary
Glastonbury festival organiser Michael Eavis has declared this year’s 40th anniversary festival the “best party of my life”.
The founder of the Somerset event, which enjoyed fine weather throughout the weekend, said this year’s bash was a huge success. Watch him talking about the festival in the video on the right now.
“It really was the best party of my life,” he said. “It’s so incredible, it really is, what all those people are doing until sunrise in the morning. It’s totally unbelievable.”
