Fans have taken online to react after the phenomenal rush for tickets to Glastonbury 2019 – which sold out in just 35 minutes.
After a fallow year in 2018 to allow the land to recover, Glasto will return to Worthy Farm from June 26-30, 2019. The line-up is yet to be announced, but Arctic Monkeys, The Cure, ABBA, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney are all among the rumoured headliners.
The initial limited batch of Glastonbury tickets with the package of coach travel sold out in just 30 minutes on Thursday, and demand was just as high for general tickets this morning.
“Tickets have now sold out!” Tweeted Glasto organiser Emily Eavis. “We are blown away by the huge demand, looks like record numbers tried.
“Thank you for your patience and incredible support and for those of you who missed out, there will be a ticket resale in April”

A limited run of re-sale tickets will be available in the new year once the main line-up has been announced.
But in the mean time, fans have to deal with the cold reality of now. There were those loaded with the usual frustration at the online booking system…

Pathetic. Why not have a ballot as per Wimbledon tickets priority given to those who've not been before. As one replier said, biased towards those with good i/net connections.

The worst ticket buying experience I have ever had. My friends and I were really looking forward to coming from the states. Woke up at 330am to get tickets. You guys need a better system. So disappointed.

Emily Eavis recently said that they’re progressing well with the line-up for Glastonbury 2019, while Stormzy recently appeared to tease that he may be headlining.
Tame Impala also recently claimed that they would love to headline Glastonbury 2019 if asked.
