Michael Eavis has been speaking about this year’s Glastonbury Festival – and has even hinted at who might be making an appearance.
Although refusing to reveal any names from the line-up, when pushed by BBC Points West programme he hinted, “I’m putting on a black American headliner, who’s absolutely terrific.”
He added that the artist will specifically appeal to the younger audience, whom many claimed were missing from last year’s event.
Also asked about the probability that Amy Winehouse might perform, Eavis said she was a target for the festival explaining: “I really, really do need her.”
Glastonbury Festival takes place in Somerset from June 27-29.
Fans must register to stand a chance of buying tickets on Glastonburyfestivals.co.uk or by picking up a form from camping shop Millets.
Tickets go on sale on April 6.
