Police have said that robberies at this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL have fallen by a staggering 83%.
According to the latest figures released this afternoon (June 26), just two robberies have been reported to Avon And Somerset Police, meaning robbery makes up just one per cent of all crime at Worthy Farm.
Overall crime is also down significantly, with the number of reported crimes, excluding drugs, standing at 86 – down 46% from last year. Theft from tents is down 70 per cent and theft from the person is down 46 per cent.
In the latest news on the death on site, a 29-year-old woman and 30.-year-old woman remain in police custody on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug after a 24 year old man died at the festival medical centre at 3.55am this morning.
