Some extra tickets for this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL have gone on sale, NME.COM can reveal.
According to a statement on the official Glastonbury website, more have become available because of the “reallocation of duplicate tickets”.
A statement reads: “Due to reallocation of duplicate tickets a limited number of festival tickets are now available on [url=]www.wayahead.com/glastonbury2004. No other outlets currently offering tickets for sale will receive an allocation of tickets from the Festival.”
As previously reported, tickets for the event went on sale at 8pm on April 1, but many who attempted to get online to buy tickets were left frustrated, claiming the only website that’s selling tickets has been unable to cope with demand.
Also, many fans have found that a telephone line set up to sell tickets has been almost constantly engaged.
Other stars including Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, PJ Harvey, Toots & the Maytals, James Brown, Rapture, Basement Jaxx, Elbow, The Chemical Brothers, Ms Dynamite, [/a], [a], [/a], [a], [/a] and [a] are also rumoured to play.
