There have been a few changes down on Worthy Farm...

Glastonbury Festival‘s 2019 map has been revealed – check it out below.

After announcing more acts for this year’s event earlier today (April 16), organisers have offered another glimpse of what to expect at Worthy Farm thanks to an updated map of the site.

Notable changes include the previously-announced Victorian seaside pier and the extended Block 9 area, which has now doubled in size. The new pier attraction is located above The Park in Pennard Hill Ground, at the side of the Tipi Village.

Although a new “micro venue” called No Average Groove is expected to be added to Silver Hayes, it has been noted that it does not feature on the new map. Arcadia’s iconic spider installation, which is set to be replaced in 2019, is also still shown.

You can see the 2019 Glastonbury map below or visit the official website for the high-quality version.

Eagle-eyed Glastonbury account ‘The Glasto Thingy’ also points out other minor site alterations for this year, including a slight change in the West Holts Stage positioning and a relocated Glasto Latino venue. Check out the thread and 2017 comparison below.

In other news, Glastonbury recently unveiled the line-up for their Silver Hayes stages – featuring the likes of Four Tet, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard, Steel Banglez, and Ocean Wisdom. The line-up for the BBC Introducing tent was also revealed.

Stormzy, The Cure, The Killers and Janet Jackson are among the big names on this year’s line-up. Meanwhile, it has also been rumoured that US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been invited to speak at the event.

All Glastonbury 2019 tickets are currently sold out, but a resale for unwanted tickets will take place on Sunday April 28.

Setting his sights on Glasto’s 50th anniversary, boss Michael Eavis has teased that Paul McCartney could be set to headline in 2020. Back as far as 2017, daughter and co-organiser Emily Eavis said that they had already booked two headliners for the milestone instalment.
