Glasvegas to perform debut album in full on 10th anniversary tour

They're back...

Glasvegas have announced that they’ll be performing their acclaimed debut album in full on an upcoming 10th anniversary tour. Check out full dates and ticket details below.

The band’s 2008 self-titled record reached No.2 in the charts, landed them a Mercury Prize nomination, sold 500,000 copies worldwide and contained the singles ‘Flowers & Football Tops’, ‘Go Square Go!’, ‘Daddy’s Gone’, ‘It’s My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry’ and ‘Geraldine’.

Their second album ‘EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\’ followed in 2011, before the band were dropped by their label. They released third album ‘Later… When The TV Turns To Static’ in 2013.

“There’s not enough hype in the world for Glasvegas,” wrote NME of the record in our original review. “They are an important, amazing, real band that won’t let you down. Not because they play real instruments and sing real songs about real people (they’d be just as genuine if they wrote noise collages about interstellar seahorses on MacBooks); they’re real because they put their entire hearts and souls and brains into it. And that is rock’n’roll.”
