Glen Campbell has released a new video to accompany what is said to be his final song, ‘I’m Not Going to Miss You’. Click above to watch.
In 2011 the country singer revealed he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, subsequently embarking on a farewell tour. He also recording a final album, which was eventually split into two records, ‘Ghost on the Canvas’ and ‘See You There’.
As reported by Stereogum, ‘I’m Not Going to Miss You’ has been recorded for upcoming documentary, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which captures the ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’ performer’s last tour and his battle with Alzheimer’s.
The video features shots of the Campbell in the studio during the ‘I’m Not Going to Miss You’ sessions, as well as clips from his life and career.
Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me premiers in New York and Nashville on October 24.
