The newly-reformed Go-Go’s are to take part in their first ever webchat tonight (June 27).

According to their official website, Belinda Carlisle[/a], Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin will chat to fans at 6pm EST (11pm BST), via the website [url=]www.chat.yahoo.com.

The Go-Go’s officially reformed earlier in the year, and have been working on a new studio album. At least 12 songs have already been completed for the record, which is expected before the year’s end.

The Go-Go’s were one of the most critically acclaimed female groups of the late ’70s. They split in the mid ’80s, with vocalists Jane Wiedlin and Belinda Carlisle embarking on solo careers. Carlisle was the most successful, releasing numerous singles and albums in the late ’80s and early ’90s, including the UK number one ‘Heaven On Is A Place On Earth’ in December 1987.
