Golden Silvers give necklaces to Reading Festival audience

Gwilym Gold is in a positive mood during the band's set

Golden Silvers gave fans at their Reading Festival set necklaces as a thank you for coming to see them this afternoon (August 30).

Frontman Gwilym Gold made the gesture before playing final track ‘Arrows Of Eros’.

Earlier in the band’s set, Gold and his bandmates drew cheers as they ran through tracks from their debut album ‘True Romance’.

Wearing a white shirt, quiffed frontman Gold stood behind his keyboard for the duration of the band’s set, flanked by bassist Ben Moorhouse and drummer Robden Alexis Nunez.

Golden Silvers are due to play the NME Radar Tour this autumn alongside Marina And The Diamonds, Yes Giantess and Local Natives.

NME.COM will be coming live from both the Reading And Leeds Festivals sites this weekend (August 28-30). Stay tuned to NME.COM/festivals for news reports, blogs, video interviews and photos from the event.
