Gomez go all dancey on their new hairy chested, medallion-wearing release...

Gomez release an EP, ‘MACHISMO’, in May through Hut, nme.com can reveal.

The EP will feature three as-yet-untitled tracks plus ‘Touchin’ Up’ and ‘Machismo’, a song described as ‘Leftfield-influenced’ by a spokesperson for the band. The band produced the EP themselves at Real World Studios in Bath.

A spokesman told nme.com: “‘Machismo’ is all loops and samples, veering into dance territory. It’s going to surprise people. It’s got a groove man.”

Gomez will unveil the new material during their April UK tour which calls at Manchester Apollo (April 12), Portsmouth Guildhall (13), Bristol Colston Hall (15) and Brixton Academy (16).
