Good Charlotte name new album

Plus band confirm US tour dates

Good Charlotte are set to release their new album ’Good Morning Revival’ in February.

The band are also set to release an internet-only single – ’Keep Your Hands Off My Girl’ – as a taster for the album. The band posted the song on their Myspace. A release date for the single has yet to be confirmed.

The album was produced by Don Gilmore, and will be the follow up to 2004’s ’The Chronicles Of Life And Death’.

Frontman Joel Madden said: “It sounds like Good Charlotte. It sounds older. We sound more comfortable.

“We definitely took a lot more steps forward. We went way left, it sounds way different. It’s melodic. It’s upbeat. It’s kind of dance-y at some times. I think it’s still very ambitious for us.”

Madden described ’Keep Your Hands Off My Girl’ as: “Just a fun song. I was kind of joking around with some friends and said ‘I want to make a song I can hear in the clubs’”.
