Good Charlotte to make UK live return as All Time Low support act

The pop punkers recently announced their sixth album, following a four year hiatus

Good Charlotte have been added as support on All Time Low‘s UK and Ireland arena tour this February, marking their return to the UK following the announcement of their sixth album.

There are no signs of Good Charlotte UK dates outside the ‘Back To The Future Hearts Tour’ just yet, but the Maryland group did release a new song ‘Makeshift Love’ on November 5.

The band’s fifth and most recent full album ‘Cardiology’ was released in 2010, but the group announced their return from hiatus last week (November 3), and will play their first reformation show in California on November 19. There is no release date for the sixth album just yet.

Good Charlotte frontman Benji Madden has also revealed a substantial new tattoo over the last month, a complex geometric pattern covering a large part of his head.

Before announcing Good Charlotte’s return, Madden had been making music with his twin brother Joel Madden as The Madden Brothers. Their debut album ‘Greetings From California’ was released in September 2014.

All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth said of the forthcoming arena tour: “Playing the arena circuit earlier this year with the You Me At Six boys showed us that rock’s still got a place at the table when it comes to putting on massive shows. We feel like it’s our time to step up and prove to ourselves and the world that since ‘Future Hearts’, All Time Low is an arena band. We can’t wait to bring a ton of the new music to a show on this scale. It’s going to be epic!!”

All Time Low and Good Charlotte will drop in on the following venues:

Cardiff Motorpoint Arena (February 10)
London The O2 (11)
Manchester Arena (12)
Birmingham Barclaycard Arena (13)
Glasgow The SSE Hydro (15)
Dublin 3 Arena (16)
