The animated band led by Damon Albarn get the treatment from Channel 4...

Animated popsters GORILLAZ are to be the subject of a CHANNEL 4 cartoon special.

A spokesperson for the animated band, led by Blur vocalist Damon Albarn, told NME.COM this morning that the as-yet-untitled, 30 minute cartoon will be broadcast on Channel 4 this coming autumn.

The most likely month would be late September or early October.


As previously reported on NME.COM, Gorillaz will tour Europe in June.
