GORILLAZ are set to play this year’s CREAMFIELDS UK, and are in the process of lining-up a UK tour for June.

NME.COM has learned that the animated group will to play the annual event, which this year takes place on August 25 at the Old Liverpool Airfield.

In addition, the group, which features Blur‘s Damon Albarn, are looking to follow the success of their debut live show at the London King’s Cross Scala with a full UK tour.

The band have confirmed the first date at the Birmingham Academy on June 28. Tickets are on sale now, priced £16. It is anticipated that more live dates will be added.
