GORILLAZ have revealed that their new single will be ’19-2000′.
The animated band have already started work on a video for the track, the follow-up to their Top Five hit ‘Clint Eastwood’.
Speaking recently, drummer Russel said that as well as working on the video, the band are also “brewing up some phat ideas” for their second studio album, quashing rumours that their current eponymous record, released on Monday (March 26) was a one-off project.
In other Gorillaz news, the collective have hinted that they will follow the band’s debut show at the London King’s Cross Scala earlier in the month with a string of UK dates later in the year.
Bassist Murdoc said: “I’d love to tour, man… the stage is my turf, you know what I mean?”
