Gorillaz hint at Glastonbury Snoop Dogg collaboration

Murdoc suggests the rapper will join them on stage

Gorillaz have hinted that Snoop Dogg is set to join them for their Glastonbury headline slot on June 25.

The rapper appears on the band’s song ‘Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach’ and is set to play on the Pyramid Stage at the festival before them. Gorillaz‘s cartoon bassist and spokesperson Murdoc alluded in an interview with NME that Snoop may be sticking around to join them.

When asked who he wanted to see at the festival, his reply read: “Snoop Dogg, Mos Def and The Hypnotic Brass. But then I can watch them with us when we play‚Ķ maybe.”

Damon Albarn’s band have replaced U2 for the headline slot after Bono required back surgery.
