'How I Long To Feel That Summer In My Heart' is released in the, erm, Autumn...

GORKY’S ZYGOTIC MYNCI have confirmed details of a new album, ‘HOW I LONG TO FEEL THAT SUMMER IN MY HEART’.

‘How I Long To Feel That Summer In My Heart’ is released on September 17 via Mantra. The album, the band’s seventh full record, features guest appearances from Teenage Fanclub‘s Norman Blake and Teflon Monkey.

The first single from the album will be titled ‘Stood On Gold’, and released on September 3.

The band plan to tour fully in the autumn. However, a handful of live dates have been confirmed. On August 3 they headline ‘The Big Weekend’ free festival in Cardiff, while two days later (August 5) they headline the first of four nights at the London Scala celebrating Mantra’s fifth birthday.

As previously announced Gorky’s play the Carling Festival in Reading and Leeds over the weekend of August 24-26.
