Graham Coxon has announced details of his first ever UK tour for July, featuring members of Blur and Idlewild in his backing band.
As previously revealed on nme.com, Coxon plays a date at the London Highbury Garage on July 14, and we can now exclusively reveal that he has added another three dates around the country, calling at: Glasgow Garage (July 10) Sheffield Leadmill (11) Nottingham Rock City (12)

Coxon‘s band will feature Blur bandmate Dave Rowntree on drums, Idlewild‘s Rod Jones on guitar and Toby McFarland from 13/13 on bass. The band will only remain together for this tour. Tickets for the shows are #9, or #10 in London.
The tour coincides with the release of Coxon‘s second solo album ‘The Golden D’, which is released on June 12 through Transcopic. Coxon performed all the vocals, played all the instruments and produced the album.
As well as the ten Coxon originals, two tracks on the album, ‘That’s When I Reach For My Revolver’ and ‘Fame & Fortune’, are covers of early ’80s post-punk American band Mission Of Burma.
