Graham Coxon to release his original soundtrack for ‘The End of the F***ing World’

The acclaimed British comedy series has been a recent Netflix smash following its international release

Graham Coxon will release his original soundtrack for the acclaimed TV series The End of the F***ing World later this month.

The show, which debuted on Channel 4 back in October before receiving its international release on Netflix earlier this month, is based on Charles S. Forsman’s comic series of the same name.

The soundtrack, which is the Blur guitarist’s debut original score, is now set for both a digital and physical release. The 16-track album will be available to stream and download digitally on January 26, while a vinyl release is scheduled for March.

Speaking about writing the soundtrack, Coxon said: “There were days where I wrote and finished three or four new songs in a single day. It was mental, I’ve never worked to that kind of schedule before. But the creative process around observation and interpretation is one that is very familiar to me. I feel very comfortable reacting to things and adding my bit.

“And this show particularly appealed to both my appreciation of dark music as well as my dark sense of humour. It felt like a good fit.”

Pre-order is now open for iTunes, vinyl and digital download, and the lead single from the soundtrack, ‘Walking All Day’, is streaming now.
