Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong: ‘Bon Jovi are the worst band we’ve ever played with’

Singer also hails The Hives' live stage show

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has dubbed Bon Jovi the “worst band” he has ever toured with.

The singer said he was unimpressed with the 80s rock icons and said they were no fun to share the stage with. He also hailed The Hives.

He told Kerrang! magazine:

‘The best [band we’ve shared a stage with] is probably The Hives, they’re a great live band. [As for the worst] Oh boy, I have to go with Bon Jovi.’
