OXEGEN FESTIVAL has sold out in record time.

Ireland’s biggest music festival, taking place at Punchestown Racecourse on July 9-10, has sold out all 70,000 tickets six weeks in advance.

Festival boss Denis Desmond said: “For Oxegen to sell out so far in advance in its short history is an incredible achievement and goes to show that the event has already established itself as one of the most important events in the Irish music calendar.”

Oxegen is headlined by Green Day on the Saturday and Foo Fighters on the Sunday and also features Kasabian, Prodigy, Biffy Clyro, [/a] and [a].
