Joan Jett performs with Miley Cyrus and Paul McCartney inducts Starr in the clip

A trailer clip has been released for HBO‘s upcoming broadcast of last month’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

The likes of late Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed, Ringo Starr, Green Day, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, late guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan, soul group ‘5’ Royales, and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts were inducted into the Hall Of Fame at a ceremony in Cleveland on April 18. A full show featuring footage and interviews from the event will be aired on the US cable network on May 30.

Before then, you can watch a trailer for it below, featuring footage of Paul McCartney inducting Starr into the Hall Of Fame, Starr performing with Green Day, Joan Jett performing with Miley Cyrus and more.

Meanwhile, Green Day have discussed their next record, which will be their twelfth studio effort.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong recently said, “There’s definitely a great spirit going on. We’ve always been pretty charged up… I [have] already written a few songs and everybody was really excited by them… We want to work on them, and we want to make a great album.”

Green Day last released their trilogy of albums, ‘Uno!’, ‘Dos!’ and ‘Tre!’, in 2011 and 2012. The final part of those was the band’s lowest-charting album in the UK since 1992’s ‘Kerplunk’, reaching Number 31. They also released ‘Demolicious’, an album of alternative takes from the trilogy sessions featuring unreleased song ‘State Of Shock’, for Record Store Day in 2014.
