GREEN DAY have stolen the show at the MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS.
The band have picked up seven awards from eight nominations at the ceremony in Miami. Amongst the awards, the video for ’Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ was recognised in the Best Rock Video, Video of the Year, Best Group Video, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Cinematography categories.
Elsewhere, The Killers, Gorillaz and Gwen Stefani all picked up awards.
