Grimes, Mac DeMarco and Kurt Vile added to Open’er Festival 2016 line-up

Polish festival takes place in Gdynia from June 29 - July 2

Poland’s Open’er Festival has added new acts to this year’s bill.

Open’er takes place in Gdynia from June 29 – July 2. Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey, The Last Shadow Puppets, LCD Soundsystem and Florence + The Machine are among the acts previously announced for 2016.

Now, it has been confirmed that Grimes, Kurt Vile and Mac DeMarco will also appear. Mac DeMarco will perform at the Alter Stage on June 29, with Kurt Vile playing the same stage on July 1 and Grimes set for the Tent Stage on July 2.

Other acts already announced for this year’s festival include The 1975, At The Drive-In, Bastille, Chvrches, Tame Impala, Vince Staples and Caribou.

Open’er was headlined by Drake, Mumford and Sons, The Libertines and Kasabian in 2015 on a bill that also included Alt-J, A$AP Rocky, Alabama Shakes, Major Lazer, Disclosure, Years & Years, St. Vincent, The Vaccines, The Prodigy and more.

Fan tickets and early bird are now sold out, but regular tickets for the 2016 festival are on sale now.
