Watch eight minute long clip of 'Paradise City' now

Guns N’ Roses are set to release a 3D concert film later this year.

Spin reports that the gig that will be given the 3D home entertainment treatment was filmed on November 21 at Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as Axl Rose and co. took over 12 nights at the venue as part of their Appetite for Democracy residency. An eight-minute long clip of the band performing ‘Paradise City’ from the currently unnamed film can be seen below.

In the clip, Axl Rose is joined on stage by strippers as pyrotechnics explode above the stage. The production company behind Guns N’ Roses 3D film have promised a release in theaters, on TV, and via DVD on the film’s official Facebook Page.

Guns N’ Roses are not the only band to release a 3D concert movie in 2013 with Metallica also getting involved with their effort Metallica – Through The Never. Their movie will differ to the Guns N’ Roses movie and will be an unusual hybrid of concert movie and fictional feature film. Actor Dane DeHaan, best known for his role in Chronicle, plays a crew member who gets given an urgent mission during a gig – with life-changing results.

Metallica confirmed that they were working on a 3D movie project back in January 2012, but gave away little else at the time. The film was written and directed by Nimród Antal, whose previous credits include 2010’s Predators.

Meanwhile, Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler has claimed he’s no longer angry at singer Axl Rose over the dispute regarding the band’s induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Adler labelled the frontman an “asshole” after he chose not to attend the ceremony in April of this year. Rose had asked not to be inducted at all, and was subsequently booed by the audience when Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong read out his name at the bash in Cleveland, Ohio.
