Watch Guns N’ Roses perform with AC/DC’s Angus Young at Coachella

Guns 'N Roses singer Axl Rose will soon be joining AC/DC on tour as their lead singer

Guns N’ Roses were joined on stage by AC/DC‘s Angus Young during their first headline set at Coachella yesterday (April 16).

Young played two songs with the reunited band: the AC/DC classics ‘Riff Raff’ and ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’. Scroll down to watch fan-shot footage of ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’.

AC/DC confirmed earlier today (April 17) that Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose will be joining them as lead singer for the remainder of their tour, replacing Brian Johnson, who has been advised by doctors to stop touring if he wants to save his hearing.

AC/DC currently have 12 European live dates booked in for May and June, including two UK shows: London’s Olympic Stadium on June 4 and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium on June 9.

Rose will then rejoin Guns N’ Roses for their ‘Not In This Lifetime’ North American tour, which runs from June 23 to August 22. The band – now missing just one member of its classic lineup, Izzy Stradlin – played the first of two Coachella headline sets last night.

Guns ‘N Roses will play two gigs at Foro Sol, Mexico City this week before delivering their second Coachella set next Saturday (April 13).

AC/DC have also confirmed that Axl Rose will be joining them for a series of rescheduled US shows, though these dates have not been announced yet.
