Guns N’ Roses’ ‘Chinese Democracy’ set for exclusive release this year?

Long-awaited album could be out before 2009

Guns N’ Roses‘ long-awaited album ‘Chinese Democracy’ could be set for an exclusive release later this year.

The album, the follow-up to 1993’s covers album ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’, may come out exclusively through US retailer Best Buy, according to

Guns N’ Roses were believed to be pursuing this method of release, as previously reported.

However, no release date has yet been set, and there’s no suggestion of when or how the album will be released in the UK.

Guns N’ Roses‘ last original work was the simultaneous double release of ‘Use Your Illusion I’ and ‘Use Your Illusion II’ in September 1991.

Vocalist Axl Rose is the last remaining member of the line-up who began work on ‘Chinese Democracy’ in the ’90s.
