Sex Pistols and The Cult also join in on hard-rock extravaganza
Sex Pistols‘ Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook — who took the stage with the band last week, as previously reported –also joined in on the hard-rock romp, along with Billy Duffy of The Cult, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains.
This was the second of the four-night Roxy residency for Camp Freddy, which features Billy Morrison (The Cult), Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver), Donovan Leitch (son of singer Donovan), and Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction).
The evening culminated with an explosive performance of Guns N’ Roses‘ ‘Paradise City’ featuring Slash and Navarro on guitar, Sorum on drums, McKagan on bass, and Bennington on vocals. With so many musicians on stage, Navarro quipped, “Now can someone please find Slash a guitar–is that so hard?”
