Police are hunting almost 50 people in connection with a riot at a GUNS N’ ROSES show in VANCOUVER.
The opening gig of their North American leg of their world tour was pulled (November 7) after frontman Axl Rose failed to turn up. Barriers were hurled through box office windows at the GM Place and police were drafted in using pepper spray and clubs to disperse the crowd, who pelted them with rocks in return.
Local police have now posted the pictures and video footage of a number of ‘persons of interest’ they would like to speak to with regard to the disturbances on their website.
Police in Leeds used similar methods when trying to capture persons involved in the disturbances at the 2002 Carling Festival.
