Duff McKagan reunites with Guns N’ Roses live in Argentina – watch

Bass player has temporarily rejoined band for South American tour dates

Bassist Duff McKagan’s first gig back with Guns N’ Roses saw the band perform covers of songs by Misfits, Led Zeppelin and The Who.

As reported, McKagan has signed up to cover full-time bassist Tommy Stinson for five gigs in South America this month. He made his return on Sunday night (April 6) in Buenos Aires, joining frontman Axl Rose and bandmates for a set which consisted of material old and new and a host of cover versions.

McKagan took lead vocals on a cover of Misfits song ‘Attitude’ – scroll down to see video footage of that performance now.

Consequence of Sound reports that elsewhere in the set, Guns N’ Roses covered The Stooges’ ‘Raw Power’ for the first time ever plus their take on Led Zeppelin’s ‘Babe I’m Gonna Leave You’ and ‘The Seeker’ by The Who. Scroll down for a full setlist.
