Happy Mondays will play their classic ‘Pills ‘N’ Thrills And Bellyaches’ record in full at a gig in Hastings later this year.
The 1990 album features some of the band’s biggest hits, including ‘Kinky Afro’ and ‘Step On’. Happy Mondays toured the album for its 25th anniversary last year.
Now the band will play Hastings Pier on September 17, with support coming from The Orb, playing ‘Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld’ in full, and Formation.
Hastings Pier will also play host to The Levellers performing ‘Levelling the Land’ for its 25th anniversary on September 18. Turin Brakes and Ferocious Dog will support at that show.
Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday (April 22) at midday.
Meanwhile, Happy Mondays man Shaun Ryder recently discussed new Happy Mondays music and a forthcoming solo album in an interview with NME.
