SHAUN RYDER is the subject of a new fly-on-the-wall documentary.
The former Happy Mondays and Black Grape star has spent the last eight months being shadowed by film-maker Richard Macer, who has previously made similar films about glamour model Jordan.
‘Shaun Ryder Comes Clean’ documents Ryder coming out of rehab, moving out to Australia and promoting his ’Amateur Night At The Big Top’ album.
As well as following Ryder round Australia, the film also takes him back to the site of the Hacienda, the legendary Manchester club where the Happy Mondays made their name.
The documentary is due to be screened early next year on BBC3.
