The show at the University is already sold out...

HEAR’SAYare to make a return trip to NOEL’s hometown of CARDIFF for a one-off gig at the city’s University next week.

The band will play the ticket-only Student Union Ball on Saturday, June 16.

Tickets were offered to Student Union members at first – and the show sold out within a week.

The band were the star attraction at the One Big Sunday Radio 1 event in South Wales a month ago.

Hear’say have also been added to the bill at this year’s Mardi Gras gay and lesbian festival in Finsbury Park, London. The band will perform to an estimated 85,000 people at the knees-up on Saturday, June 30, alongside Steps and Atomic Kitten. Hear’say are scheduled to perform after the Gay Pride march through the streets of the capital, with a 20-minute slot pencilled in for 6.40pm.

Noel, who has a legion of gay male fans and a dedicated fan website, “Queersay”, told a recent newspaper that he is happy with the band’s eclectic fanbase: “We seem to make the crossover from people aged five to 50, whether gay, straight or whatever.”
