but the 'Popstars' are expected to claim a second week at the top...

HEAR’SAY are hoping to make it two weeks at the top of the single chart this week, but will be challenged by new releases from ROGER SANCHEZ, WHEATUS and BLINK-182.

As reported yesterday (July 1), Hear’Say‘s second single ‘The Way To Your Love’ entered the UK chart at Number One, following in the footsteps of their debut single ‘Pure And Simple’.

This week, the group will have to battle against a host of new releases, with chart experts predicting that Roger Sanchez‘ track ‘Another Chance’ and Wheatus‘ ‘A Little Respect’ being strong candidates to break into the Top Five.

A chart expert at HMV in London commented: “Both those songs should do well this week. It’s too early to judge whether either has the potential to knock Hear’Say from the top spot though!”

Other new releases today (July 2) come from Blink-182, who release ‘The Rock Show’. Pop svengali Louis Walsh’s new girlband Bellfire release their debut ‘Perfect Bliss’, Damage release ‘So What If’ and the Beta Band release their comeback single ‘Broke’.
